The unique material of the ScaleArmor™ POP systems and cartridges improves the quality of your home's potable water: it inhibits the growth of calcium and magnesium carbonate crystals, which are responsible for the formation of limescale, preventing their aggregation while maintaining the calcium and magnesium in the water. The hardness of the water remains unchanged, but the limescale and its effects are eliminated.
