CB AF Pb
A carbon block to reduce heavy metals and fine sediments: these are the CB AF Pb cartridges.
CB AF Pb filtering cartridges with catalytic activated carbon block made from coconuts filter and treat water containing lead and heavy metals.
The cartridges are made from a block of catalytic carbon derived from coconut shells and activated through an innovative process that amplifies its adsorptive and catalytic capabilities, improving cartridge performance.
RANGE
The CB AF line consists of several cartridges, capable of tackling different problems. CB AF CYST is particularly suitable for the removal of protozoan cysts, such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. CB AF CTO is effective in reducing chlorine, unpleasant odours and unwanted tastes; CB AF VOC is ideal for eliminating volatile organic compounds. The cartridges can be visually distinguished by the characteristic colour of the plates, which indicates their specific filtration function. They are available with different nominal filtration grades, (1, 5 and 10 microns, and in various heights, (5”, 7”, 10” and 20”), in standard and BIG (10” and 20” heights).
EXAMPLES OF USE
Domestic Potable Water: Under-the-sink filtration systems to improve potable water quality.
Water Coolers: Many water coolers use activated carbon cartridges to filter the water before dispensing it, improving its taste and reducing contaminants.
Rain Water Treatment Plants: In rain water harvesting systems, activated carbon cartridges are used to filter sediments and chemical contaminants.
Industrial Filtration Systems: In industrial applications, activated carbon cartridges are used to improve water in production processes by removing organic and chemical contaminants.
Filters for Coffee or Beverage Machines: Coffee machines, vending machines and beverage preparation equipment often use activated carbon cartridges to ensure that the water used is free of chlorine and other impurities, improving the taste of beverages.
Filtration Systems for Aquariums: Activated carbon cartridges are used in aquariums to remove chemical impurities, odours and dissolved organic substances in the water, creating a healthier environment for fish.
