OASIS SANIC

Oasis Sanic is an under-sink reverse osmosis system for domestic use with antimicrobial technology, designed to improve drinking water.

The installation of this system offers unlimited access to safe, good, high-quality water directly from the tap at home. Correct use and maintenance of Oasis Sanic reduces most residual pollutants such as insecticides, pesticides, nitrates, fertilisers, hazardous organic substances, heavy metals, pathogenic microorganisms, and improves the taste and flavour of water coming out of the home tap. Water can have a strange smell and taste, due in most cases to the chlorine that is added to preserve it from alteration as it passes through the pipes. However, other substances may also be present which, in addition to changing taste and smell, can change other organoleptic properties of the water; this is the case with bacteria, algae and pesticides. By eliminating everything unnecessary, Oasis Sanic reverse osmosis solves both problems to ensure safe, odour- and taste-free water at all times.

Oasis Sanic: Benefits

The installation of a reverse osmosis like Oasis Sanic brings numerous benefits:

  • Home water is better and safer: not only will drinking a glass of water be a pleasure, but also the taste of food and drinks prepared with that water will be enhanced
  • No more need to buy bottled water: less waste, more savings
  • No installation problems: small and compact, Oasis Sanic fits into most under-sink spaces. In the pack you will find everything you need to have good, healthy and safe water at your fingertips at all times

One of the main features of Oasis Sanic is its antimicrobial technology, which protects the product from bacterial growth continuously and completely thanks to the bacteriostatic properties of silver. Sanic products are up to 99.9% protected against bacterial growth.

How does Oasis Sanic work?

The Oasis Sanic under-sink reverse osmosis is based on 6 stages of filtration and treatment:

  • Pre-filtration: 3 high-efficiency cartridges filter and treat the water to prepare it for subsequent steps by removing sediments (such as rust, scale, silt) and reducing odours and VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
  • Osmotic membrane: the water is pushed through an osmotic membrane that removes heavy metals, nitrites, nitrates, chlorine and various pathogens that the water may have picked up on its way from the aqueduct to the home tap
  • Post filtration: the treated water is collected in a storage container and then pushed through 2 filters, one active carbon, one remineralising, to remove any residual odour/flavour and to restore the water's organoleptic characteristics, taste and beneficial properties. Water will thus be tastier and safer, without having lost its characteristics that make it such an essential element for our well-being.

What does Sanic mean?

Atlas Filtri's Sanic line consists of products that exploit the antimicrobial properties of silver to reduce the risk of bacterial growth in water filters, making them an unfavourable environment for bacteria. To achieve this, a silver-based antimicrobial agent, manufactured by Microban, is incorporated into the filters themselves. The products in the Sanic range are safe and suitable for all potable water applications, making them perfect for the domestic, commercial, industrial and vending sectors.
